Arsenal can snag a bargain in their defender transfer search thanks to a release clause.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo since the end of the season, with Edu and Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen the centre of defence with David Luiz leaving at the end of his contract.
Adarabioyo impressed for Fulham despite their relegation from the Premier League, making 33 appearances for a team that conceded less goals than six of the teams to finish in the bottom nine.
Despite being just 23 years of age, the centre-back looked comfortable in the top flight having made the move from Manchester City last summer for a deal worth just £1.49million.
Given his age and apparent talent, a large fee was expected to be required for Adarabioyo, but it now appears he can be picked up for something of a bargain price in the current climate.
According to the Daily Mail, Adarabioyo is going to be available for just £10m due to a release clause in his contract which expires on June 28.
The clause reportedly states that it will expire 30 days before the start of the Championship season, which is on August 7.
That means Arsenal can get their man and on the cheap, but they will not be able to wait around to secure the transfer, particularly with others interested in making a move.

It’s reported Newcastle United are also keen on a move for the defender, who recorded more clearances than any other in the Premier League last season, while also recording the fastest sprint speed.
It’s thought Adarabioyo is almost certain to remain in the Premier League one way or another, but will Arsenal get there first?
At £10m, it may be a straightforward position, especially with doubts over whether William Saliba is ready to compete in the Premier League and with Luiz on his way out.
