Arsenal’s full-back options

Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey remains a long-term target for Arsenal, report the Mirror, with the future of Hector Bellerin remaining uncertain.

Bellerin’s Arsenal career could be approaching a crossroads this summer with the 26-year-old holding two years on his contract but with long-standing interest from former club Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG came close to signing the Spain international last summer but Bellerin was persuaded to stay in north London however is now evaluating his options once again with Arsenal set to miss out on Champions League football.

Lamptey has emerged as one of the most promising attacking full-backs in the Premier League following his switch to Brighton from Chelsea but signed a new long-term contract at the Amex in January.

Partey’s on the plane

Thomas Partey has travelled with the Arsenal squad to Athens for their Europa League round of 32 second leg clash against Benfica, football.london understands.

New deal for Azeez

Arsenal are set to hand highly-rated starlet Miguel Azeez a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, according to reports.

The 18-year-old is tipped by many to become the latest Hale End academy graduate to break their way into the first-team, in the wake of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe becoming regulars.

Azeez made his debut for the club as a late substitute in December’s Europa League victory over Dundalk but his future has been hanging in the balance with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.

However, the Sun reports that Arsenal are negotiating a long-term deal that will tie up the teenager’s future at the club.
