Arsenal eye Isco

According to reports in the Spanish media, via teamtalk, Arsenal are eyeing Real Madrid star Isco.

The north London side are reportedly in contact with the 29-year-old and his representatives over a move to the Premier League. As per the report, he has fallen down the pecking order in the Spanish capital and would be open to the challenge.

Madrid will allow Isco to choose his next destination as he is surplus to requirements under Carlo Ancelotti.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for Isco on several occasions in the past and perhaps they may finally get their man.

Major Aubameyang worry

Arsenal have been dealt a huge Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang injury worry ahead of their clash with Liverpool after he was ruled out of Gabon’s clash against Egypt on Tuesday.

Aubameyang, 32, played in his home nation’s crucial 1-0 World Cup qualifier home win over Libya, a game in which he netted the only goal of the encounter with a 54th-minute penalty that kept Gabon’s hopes alive of making it to Qatar 2022.

However, Arsenal fans were worried after the game following the decision to carry Aubameyang off on a stretcher.

Although seemingly quashing any suspicions of a bad injury on an Instagram Live story later that day, he subsequently missed the clash with Egypt and looks a doubt for Saturday.

Edu and Arteta’s vision working after Southgate decision

Three of Arsenal’s young stars started for Gareth Southgate’s England side on Monday night.

Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe all featured as the Three Lions ran away 10-0 winners against San Marino, with the latter two notching a goal each.

It’s been a while since Arsenal had a number of players competing for an England shirt, which if anything, suggests that Mikel Arteta’s plan at the Emirates Stadium is working.
