Bukayo Saka was the resounding winner as Arsenal supporters voted the attacker as their ‘Player of the Season so far’.
The Gunners star has been in fine form for the Gunners this season – showing levels of consistency that have been largely unmatched by his team-mates.
In all competitions, Saka has scored six times, as well as assisting the same amount, with his form making him a regular in the England squad.
The 19-year-old has been used in a number of positions by Mikel Arteta, sometimes having to fill in at left-back due to injuries, as well as on either side in attack.
There was huge concern over Saka’s future last summer, before the teenager put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, much to the relief of Arsenal supporters.
The club’s fan base will be massively grateful he did stay put in north London – with 50% of 938 people asked by football.london voting him as the Gunners’ best player of the 2020/21 season so far.
Out of the 938 people quizzed, 910 responded, with Saka and Kieran Tierney receiving the majority of the votes.
The Scotland full-back perhaps would have been ahead of Saka if he hadn’t suffered the injury problems he has this season.
Emile Smith Rowe, similarly to Tierney, may have been higher in the poll if he would have played more during the first half of the campaign.
Smith Rowe is third in the list, with the England Under-21 international having 6% of the public’s votes.
It’s been a hugely disappointing season in the Premier League for Arsenal and their overall campaign can only really be rescued by a Europa League triumph.

If you would have said this time 12 months ago that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wouldn’t be included in the voting, that would be unthinkable for the Gunners fan base.
However, the Gabon striker has not lived up to his usual high standards this season and has only managed to find the back of the net nine times in the Premier League.
