Here’s all the news from around the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.
Odegaard injury update
An Arsenal injury worry has been avoided on international duty.
On-loan midfielder Martin Odegaard had the honour of captaining Norway for the first time in their World Cup qualifier against Gibraltar on Wednesday night.
However, his night was over at half-time which will have been of major concern to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ahead of the Premier League game against Liverpool next week and the Europa League quarter-final with Slavia Praha.
But Norway national team coach Stale Solbakken has confirmed that Odegaard has not suffered a serious injury and hopes to have him back against Turkey on Saturday.
This is great news for Arsenal, especially has Arteta praised the midfielder’s performance against West Ham United.
“I think he had an incredible performance, he was very intelligent the way he read the game, the way he affected the game and again he showed how much he wants to win,” said Arteta.
Arteta and Edu expecting busy summer transfer window
Attention is already turning to the summer transfer market.
Arsenal are expected to be among the busier clubs as Mikel Arteta seeks to continue to build the squad in his own image.
There is a possibility that the Gunners could be looking to make signings at goalkeeper, right back, centre back, left back, central defensive midfield, central midfield, central attacking midfield and centre forward once the season comes to an end.
However, their capability to get these deals over the line will dependent on a few variable factors.
The first, and by far the most important of these is financial.
Arsenal announced a loss of £47.8 million earlier this month as the financial impact of COVID-19 and empty stadiums begins to hit home.
The summer transfer window is just around the corner.
And the rumour mill is already starting to pick up speed.
Arsenal will not have a huge amount of money to spend, but Mikel Arteta will be hoping to make a number of moves, with loanee Martin Odegaard high up the list of priorities to bring in on a permanent deal.

Martinelli scores brilliant goal in training
It may be the international break, but work is still going on at Arsenal as Arteta gears up for the home stretch of the 2020/21 season.
The Gunners are still in with a chance of winning the Europa League – which would seal a return to the Champions League – and can realistically target a top-six finish in the Premier League.
One player hopeful of a major role in the run-in is Gabriel Martinelli. After a spell of not getting in the game time, the teenager has made substitute appearances in each of the last two games.
And he’s pushing for a start against Liverpool after finding the net with a brilliant strike in Wednesday’s training session.
As spotted in Arsenal’s ‘Behind the scenes at training’ video uploaded to YouTube, at around the 3.55-minute mark, Martinelli is afforded time and space which allows him to find the top corner from an acute angle.
The strike happened right in front of Arteta too, could that earn the Brazilian a start against Reds?
