Arsenal fail to match Maddison valuation
The Gunners are admirers of the England playmaker and see him as an ideal candidate to fill the creative midfielder role in the current squad at the Emirates Stadium.
However, the Foxes value Maddison in excess of £60million so Arsenal transfer chief Edu has started looking for cheaper alternatives in the current market.

Gunners knocked back in Correa chase
One man that the Gunners already seemingly have their eyes on is Lazio wideman Joaquin Correa.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Argentine in the past but according to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb have had a bid rejected for the winger.
Everton and Aston Villa have also been accredited with interest in the 26-year-old who looks set to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

AS Roma consider Lacazette
Staying in Serie A and former Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho reportedly has Alexandre Lacazette on his list of striker recruits for AS Roma this season.
The capital outfit are reportedly set to lose Edin Dzeko, who is set to move to Inter Milan as Romelu Lukaku’s replacement, and see the Frenchman as a viable successor.
Lacazette has just one year remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium and the Gunners could well be tempted to cash in sooner rather than later.
