Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Villarreal in the Europa League semi final first leg at Estadio de la Ceramica.
The Gunners found themselves in dire straights very early after Manu Trigueros and Raul Albiol put the hosts 2-0 up inside the first half.
Things then got even worse as they were reduced to ten men following a disappointing moment of indiscipline as Dani Ceballos was sent off following a poor tackle despite being on a yellow.
Arsenal were then given a route back into the game though when Bukayo Saka won a penalty that Nicolas Pepe was able to stick away.

Villarreal were then also reduced to ten men when Etienne Capoue was also given a second yellow for a late challenge.
There was time for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to fashion a chance to score right at the end, but the Gunners will take the result given the circumstances of the match.
