Mikel Arteta is set to face the press ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League quarter final first leg against Slavia Prague at the Emirates on Thursday night.
The Gunners will be hoping to use the game to bounce back after a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
To make matters worse the defeat also saw Kieran Tierney limp off injured adding to growing list of players on the treatment table at London Colney which already included David Luiz, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Granit Xhaka.
As well as fitness concerns Arsenal are also having to deal with the fact that their captain and highest paid player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in poor form since he was dropped for the North London Derby victory over Tottenham last month due to disciplinary issues.
With qualification for Europe through the league now looking near on impossible Arteta will have to navigate all these obstacles to see his side through a crucial Europa League quarter final against the Czech champions, with winning the competition now looking like their best bet for playing continental football next season.
