Arsenal star Bukayo Saka’s FIFA 21 rating upgraded but his potential downgraded

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has received an overall rating upgrade on FIFA 21 in the latest update, but his potential has been downgraded.

Server updates are a regular occurrence on FIFA 21, which are basically player database updates, where EA Sports will upgrade and downgrade players based on real-life form, also completing transfers, adding players and numerous other changes.

In the latest update, which is now live on PC, Xbox and PlayStation as of February 19, Saka, Rob Holding and Gabriel have all been upgraded, but Willian has been downgraded.

Curiously, Gabriel Martinelli has also had his player profile updated on FIFA 21, with EA Sports reducing the Brazilian’s height.

Bukayo Saka upgraded on FIFA 21

Bukayo Saka impressed against Wolves

Saka has been rewarded for some fine form in recent weeks with an overall upgrade on FIFA 21, which is as a result of a number of individual attribute upgrades.

The youngster’s short passing (78-79), ball control (77-78), reactions (73-75), aggression (64-66), positioning (70-74), vision (78-79) and composure (77-78) has all been boosted.

This has resulted in Saka’s overall rating being upgraded from 77 to 78 out of 100.

However, EA Sports have also downgraded his potential, which has dropped from 88 to 87 out of 100.

Seems very harsh!

The other changes include Martinelli’s height being reduced from 5ft 11in to 5ft 10in, Gabriel’s sprint speed (58-66) being increased, Rob Holding’s overall rating being increased from 76 to 77 and Willian receiving another big downgrade.
