Arsenal’s season is nearly at an end. Four wins from their last four games would guarantee a spot in the Champions League next season which would see the club qualify for the elite competition for the first time since the 2015/16 campaign.
Whilst that’s not going to be an easy task, especially with the North London Derby coming up next Thursday (May 12), if they do qualify, they’ll have plenty to look forward to in 2022/23. In the meantime though, they can start to be excited about wearing their new stash.
That’s because it’s that time of the year again where fans get excited about their club’s new kits. Although there’s been no official confirmation from the Gunners, it looks as though Arsenal’s new strips have been revealed online.
With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at everything that’s been said on the three new shirts so far.
Home kit due to drop on May 19
Four major talking points were brought up in Arsenal’s latest fan forum at Highbury House with Josh Kroenke and Vinai Venkatesham, according to fan group Red Action Gooners. One of the items on the agenda was the new kits which is supposedly due to drop on May 19 – which suggests that Arsenal could even wear it on the final day of the season against Everton.

Third kit leaked
As seen on FootyHeadlines, the Adidas Arsenal 2022-2023 third football shirt is mainly light pink. It is the first-ever pink shirt in the history of the North London club. On the front, you can see a pattern that consists of so-called ermines, which are often seen in coats of arms, for example. In this case, it’s derived from the old Arsenal badge.
Away kit leaked
Again, as per FootyHeadlines, Arsenal look set to don a black and gold away kit next season. The Adidas Arsenal 22-23 away jersey is black, combined with gold-metallic for all logos and grey for the three Stripes on the shoulders. It also features a faint abstract geometric print across the front and sleeves.
Xhaka accidentally reveals home strip
Towards the end of last month, Granit Xhaka was caught wearing the Gunners’ new home strip. The Swiss international visited local business ‘Chip Inn Fish Bar’ in Islington, a restaurant that Aaron Ramsdale recently went to, and some eagle-eyed Arsenal supporters spotted the 29-year-old wearing a red shirt with a collar that is reminiscent of leaked pictures of the club’s apparent new strip.
