Meanwhile, Udinese was overmatched in every area in its 4-0 defeat at the hands of Napoli on Monday. In the two games these teams played last season, Roma posted clean-sheet victories in both.

“That [Napoli] result could take the wind out of Udinese’s sails,” Green told SportsLine. “It had enjoyed a strong start to the season, but the players may be a little dejected after that defeat.
“Udinese has also had less time in which to rest than Roma, which puts it at a disadvantage for this game.”
