Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus has said he is very relaxed about his future, having been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 23-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga in recent seasons for Monchengladbach, with Neuhuas attracting plenty of attention with his performances.
He has played three times for the senior German national team, after previously featuring at U20 and U21 level, and it was reported in January by Sport 1 that Tottenham were among the interested parties for the 23-year-old midfielder.
But Liverpool have also been linked with Neuhaus in recent weeks, with reports that Jurgen Klopp’s men could look to make a £35million move for the German international this summer amid interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund as well.
It has been reported in Germany that Neuhaus has a £34.5million release clause in his contract, which has sparked further speculation over his long-term future.
However, Neuhaus has said that he is fully focused on helping Monchengladbach, who are facing a battle to qualify for European football next season and are likely to be knocked out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage, after losing the first leg of their tie with Manchester City in midweek.
“I have a contract until 2024 and I have very big goals for this season. That’s what I’m concentrating on now,” he said, speaking to Kicker.
