Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is not known for his scoring, but on Monday evening, he struck in a goal of the tournament contender for Denmark in Euro 2020.
Christensen, who is yet to score a goal for the Blues in his eight-year spell with the west London club, netted the Danes’ third in a 4-1 win against Russia – and did so in spectacular fashion, with an unstoppable strike from outside of the box.
However, a statistic has emerged that might surprise some Chelsea supporters. Loic Nego, Leonardo Spinazzola, Kingsley Coman, Cody Gakpo, Daniel James and Christensen have recorded the top speeds at the Euros so far, with the Blues defender running at 33.3 km/h.

The impressive statistic has caused quite the conversation between Chelsea supporters on Reddit but it’s about another defender, who has also shone at the Euros.
Spinazzola of AS Roma has been one of Italy’s standout performers in Roberto Mancini’s side’s perfect start to the international tournament.

Of course, Thomas Tuchel already has the likes of Ben Chilwell, Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri as options at left-back, but the latter two have been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
