Here’s all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.
Isak and Di Lorenzo to Chelsea?
Chelsea have been linked with Euro 2020 stars Alexander Isak and Giovanni Di Lorenzo as alternatives to transfer priorities Erling Haaland and Achraf Hakimi.
Isak has starred for Sweden in his two appearances so far during the European Championships.
The striker has been reported to be on Arsenal’s transfer radar and the Blues would have to shell out a fee of £60m for the forward.
Di Lorenzo is currently on international duty with Italy and shone in the 3-0 demolition of Switzerland. The right-back is reportedly a target should Chelsea’s move for Hakimi fail, read more here.
Chelsea consider Inter swap deal
The Blues will only make a move for Di Lorenzo if they cannot land number one defensive target Hakimi and the club are prepared to offer a player plus cash deal to get the Inter star to Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel is said to be willing to to let Ruben Loftus-Cheek depart the club as part of the package being prepared to bring in the Moroccan defender.
Loftus-Cheel has fallen out of favour at Chelsea and spent last season at Fulham on loan, however, his performances for the relegated team have seemingly not convinced Tuchel that his services are needed back at Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid interest in Chelsea star
According to The Sun Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti wants to raid his former club and bring Timo Werner to the Bernabeu.
Blues boss Tuchel is keen to hang onto Werner and believes the best is yet to come from the German striker.
“He’s still young and can still improve. This is what we demand week by week,” Tuchel said.
“When he has some time to reflect, rest, some time on holiday for mental rest, I’m sure he can take the next steps next year.
“He is not new anymore, he will know the environment, what he is coming back to, his team-mates, what he is up against on the first game and how to adapt. This will help him.
The summer window is officially open and now the Blues can look to build on European glory and bolster the squad to push for Premier League supremacy.

“We try to push the process right now because we need him.”
He added: “Don’t forget, many goal-scorers in Europe shoot penalties for their team and it’s common that they reach their high numbers with penalties.
