Blues plot big-money Haaland bid
According to reports, the Blues are ready to table a £150million offer for the Norway international in the hope that it will be enough to convince Dortmund to offload him this summer.
Chelsea have been tracking the Leeds-born striker since before Christmas, meaning they have done plenty of homework on him in the last few months to determine whether or not he is worth £150m.
It has already been well documented that Chelsea will have to pay over £100m to win the battle for his signature, but £150m would be an enormous offer. However, should Dortmund accept it and Chelsea win the race for his signature, it would no doubt leave their Premier League rivals stunned and almost certainly shaking.
Baggies in Chalobah talks
Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion are locked in discussions with Chelsea about the prospect of signing midfielder Trevoh Chalobah on a permanent deal.
The former Huddersfield Town and Ipswich Town loanee has reportedly been placed on the transfer list by Blues boss Thomas Tuchel and is clearly not part of the German’s plans looking forward.
Chalobah, a defensive-midfielder, spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan at FC Lorient and proved to be a regular for the French club, racking up a total of 30 appearances.
However, with his time at Lorient having been his third loan stint away from Stamford Bridge, the time has come for the midfielder to find a new permanent home, which could well prove to be the Hawthorns.
Whether Chelsea will demand a fee or not for the midfielder remains to be seen, but the Baggies are locked in talks and hope to get a deal done.

Sutton makes big Jorginho prediction
Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton believes Chelsea ace Jorginho should be considered for the Ballon d’Or after his starring performances for Italy at Euro 2020.
Jorginho has been right at the heart of the Italians’ run to the final and stroked home the penalty that secured them their spot in the final during Tuesday evening’s semi-final shoot-out victory over Spain.
“I think Lorenzo Insigne said Jorginho should be considered for the Ballon d’Or. He should after that,” Sutton said.
The summer window is officially open and now the Blues can look to build on European glory and bolster the squad to push for Premier League supremacy.

“How do you do that when there’s so much pressure? He watches the goalkeeper Unai Simon to see where he’s going to move and you have to have so much courage and conviction to take a penalty like that – and he pulled it off.
“You have to get that so spot on, or you look idiotic. But to back yourself in that moment… that tells you everything you need to know about Jorginho and his confidence.”
