Malang Sarr ‘negotiating’ with Inter Milan

Despite having performed promisingly for Chelsea earlier this season, Malang Sarr could soon be on the way out of Stamford Bridge.

After being left out of the side to face Manchester United, the defender apparently travelled to Italy to hold talks with Inter Milan, according to SportMediaSet.

As per the reports, the Serie A champions are set to sign Sarr on-loan with a purchase option set at €15m (£12.7m).

He originally joined the Blues on a free transfer from Nice in 2019, and spent last term with Portuguese giants FC Porto.

Gilmour eyeing Norwich success

Whilst Sarr could be about to leave on loan, one man who has already made the decision to depart is Billy Gilmour.

Following a return to the Norwich City side under new boss Dean Smith, he has suggested he is targeting an extended run at Carrow Road.

Talking to the Eastern Daily Press, the midfielder said: “Of course it’s frustrating, not playing, but I’m here at Norwich, I want to do well, I want this loan to go well.

“So for me to play and to pick up points for the team is something that I want to keep building on and help Norwich.”

Club World Cup dates confirmed

Chelsea are set to rearrange a few Premier League fixtures early next year with FIFA finally having confirmed the dates of the Club World Cup.

The tournament is set to take place between February 3 and February 12 and will be staged in the United Arab Emirates.

The Blues will enter the competition at the semi-final stage and will miss Premier League clashes against both Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal.
