Here’s all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.
Bettinelli deal agreed
Chelsea’s first signing of the summer transfer window is imminent.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are set to complete the signing of former Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, who has agreed a two-year deal with the Champions League holders.
Furthermore, it is claimed the 29-year-old is due to complete his medical and sign for the club in the next 48 hours.
Available as a free agent after leaving the Cottagers when his contract expired at the end of last month, Bettinelli will arrive to provide competition to Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga next season.
In addition, he will become Thomas Tuchel’s first signing as Chelsea head coach.
Appointed during the January transfer window, the German opted against bringing in any players and used the squad Frank Lampard left behind to win the Champions League.
Could Bettinelli soon be joined at Chelsea by a new striker?
Chelsea fans sure hope so as many feel signing Erling Haaland would go a long way to bridging the gap between them and reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
In fact, some Blues supporters are convinced that their pursuit of the Norway international has been handed a boost after Dutch forward Donyell Malen was seen training with the Borussia Dortmund squad.
After seeing the footage, many flocked to social media to joke that Haaland will soon be training at their Cobham training ground.
Here’s how a select number of fans reacted on Twitter.
The summer window is officially open and now the Blues can look to build on European glory and bolster the squad to push for Premier League supremacy.

It would appear that Chelsea are making moves with just over a month left of the summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have opened talks with La Liga outfit Sevilla regarding a deal for highly-rated central defender Jules Kounde.
He tweeted: “Chelsea have opened official talks with Sevilla for Jules Kounde. He’s the main target at centre back, negotiations ongoing to reach an agreement.
“Kounde is open to accept Chelsea as next club as he wants Champions League football. Now it’s up to the two clubs.”
As per the CIES Football Observatory, Kounde’s estimated transfer value is between €70m-€90m (£59m-£76m) which means it will likely be an expensive deal for Blues director Marina Granovskaia to complete.
