Confirmed Arsenal XI vs Benfica as Martin Odegaard starts and Thomas Partey makes the bench

Martin Odegaard makes his fourth consecutive start for Arsenal as the Gunners take on Benfica in the Europa League.

The on-loan Real Madrid midfielder features in a strong attacking line-up for Mikel Arteta’s side who will be hoping to secure their passage into the next round after last week’s 1-1 draw in Rome.

Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos partner eachother in central midfield, whilst Emile Smith Rowe starts ahead of Nicolas Pepe who played in the defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts upfront with Bukayo Saka supporting him from the left-hand side and there is a place for Thomas Partey on the bench after his return from injury.

Arsenal XI vs Benfica: Leno, Bellerin, David Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney, Ceballos, Xhaka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Saka, Aubameyang.
