Croatia vs Czech Republic prediction: Tomas Soucek can be the difference in Glasgow

West Ham’s Tomas Soucek will be looking to capitalise on their win against Scotland when they welcome Croatia.

Croatia are the favourites at 59/50 with Grosvenor Sport while the Czech Republic are 5/2 and a draw is 47/20.

World Cup finalists Croatia suffered defeat to England and will be looking for a way to break Czech Republic’s defences despite they themselves managing to keep a clean sheet in their opening match.

However, Scotland were extremely unlucky not to take their chances so there is a chance Soucek and co will not have the same level of luck against their next opponents.

A win can confirm Petr Rada’s side a place in the knockout stages.

  • Tomas Soucek to score anytime – 23/5
  • Both teams to score – 49/50

Midfielder Soucek was brilliant against Scotland. Not only did he provide an assist but the West Ham man looked in control of the whole game whenever he had the ball.

He is also an aerial threat so I can see Soucek having a chance or two against Croatia.

Meanwhile, both defences are prone to error or two – even though Czech Republic kept a clean sheet, they could have easily conceded at least two and both teams to score is 49/50.
