A massive digital mural of Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka, along with England teammates Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, has been unveiled in Manchester after the three stars were targeted with racist abuse.

The trio were all brought on as substitutes for the Three Lions during their Euro 2020 final against Italy on Sunday night, with Saka coming on in the 70th minute before the Manchester United duo were brought on in the 120th minute.

The Wembley showpiece finished 1-1 before going to a penalty shootout as all three youngsters bravely stepped up to take spot-kicks.

Unfortunately for England all three failed to convert their penalties, but they were revered by a multitude of supporters for showcasing courage to step up in the big moment for their country.

However, this attitude wasn’t shared by everyone, as their social media pages were flooded with vile racist abuse, which led to the FA releasing a statement condemning the ‘disgusting behaviour’.

Football fans across the country have rallied around the young trio, attempting to send support on their social media accounts that drowns out the abuse.

A billboard by SPORTbible depicting Saka, Sancho and Rashford appeared on Trafford Road in Manchester on Tuesday, just a short distance away from Old Trafford stadium.

The summer window is officially open, and it’s going to be tough to keep up with the comings and goings in and out of the Emirates.

The footballers are shown wearing crowns and a message on the mural reads: “Never apologise for who you are.”

It is a touching tribute for the young stars, who all have a bright future with club and country ahead of them.

In fact, Saka was on the receiving end of Arsenal’s 2020/21 Player of the Season award after bagging seven goals and ten assists across all competitions for the Gunners last term.
