Erling Haaland could be on the move in the summer transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund striker is one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now after netting 33 goals in just 31 appearances across all competitions this season – including 10 in the Champions League.
Among the clubs linked with a move for Haaland include Premier League duo in Chelsea and Manchester United as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid.
When the 20-year-old gets a big transfer remains to be seen as Dortmund have a big decision to make regarding when to cash in on the Norway international.
As Haaland’s release clause of €75m (£64m) does not kick in until next summer, the Bundesliga side could benefit from a bidding war in the next transfer window as any deal to lure the striker away is likely to cost more than £100million.
Those sort of figures immediately rules Arsenal out of the conversation for Haaland’s signature.
However, some Gunners fans have, jokingly, ‘ spotted’ a hint that suggests the striker is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
This has hilariously prompted a theory that he was copying Nicolas Pepe’s goal celebration and one user commented by asking: “Move to Arsenal confirmed?”
What is genuine is Haaland’s respect for Arsenal.
Back in January when delivering his verdict on compatriot Odegaard’s loan move from Real Madrid, the Norwegian called the Gunners a “great club in England”.
“It will be interesting to see Martin at Arsenal,” Haaland said, as per Football Espana. “It’s a great club in England.
“The football is a bit different, but I think he can fit in well with Arteta in midfield. He can have fun there.”
Odegaard is certainly having fun at the Emirates and his impressive performances have already convinced the Gunners to try and extend his stay in north London.
But Los Blancos are said to be keen on having the 22-year-old play a key role for them next season.

With that said, any decision regarding Odegaard’s future will be made at the end of the campaign and he’s named the two conditions that are important to his next move.
“My future at Arsenal? The deal with Arsenal is until the end of season,” he said at a Norway press conference, as per the Norwegian media.” We’ll see what happens this summer.
“I’ve said things before that I still stand for: stability and development are key words.”
