Haaland to Chelsea ‘very difficult’
Chelsea have been sent a warning by Borussia Dortmund that trying to sign their prized asset Erling Haaland this summer could be “mission impossible” for the Blues hierarchy to pull off.
The Blues want to sign a number nine during this window and Haaland is their top target. Other options are reported to be Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.
Haaland has become one of the most sought-after players in the world after scoring 48 times in 51 games for club and country last season.
And despite Chelsea preparing an opening offer, it already seems like Dortmund have their mind set up on what the outcome of that opening offer will be.
“Chelsea are trying but it is going to be very difficult,” reported Kaveh Solhekol said on Sky Sports. “At the moment it looks like mission impossible. It is unlikely but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”

Thomas Tuchel’s message in pre-season training
Chelsea began their preparations for the 2021/22 campaign yesterday as 28 players took to the training pitches at Cobham for the first session of pre-season.
All of the Euro 2020 players were obviously absent from the first session, as they all embark on a two to three-week break before they join pre-season training.
The group of 28 included the likes of Christian Pulisic, Eduoard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech, plus some players who have returned from their loan spells last season.
Find out what manager Thomas Tuchel told his group of 28 here.
The summer window is officially open and now the Blues can look to build on European glory and bolster the squad to push for Premier League supremacy.

Chelsea announce ticket details for Tottenham clash
Chelsea say they are expecting a “near-capacity crowd” to return to Stamford Bridge for the pre-season friendly against Spurs on August 4.
The Blues are part of a Mind Series (mental health charity) tournament which consists of London rivals Arsenal and Spurs, as Tuchel’s side ramp up their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
And if you want to see the action then you can, with tickets going on sale to season ticket holders on July 14 where you can buy your own seat.
Tuchel said of Chelsea’s participation in the tournament: “I am pleased that my first pre-season with Chelsea contains such high-level fixtures against such top-quality opponents. Hopefully, there can be plenty of fans in the stadiums.”
