Every Arsenal transfer rumour rated and slated – 10 players including Premier League ace & RBL star

Yves Bissouma

Brighton midfielder Bissouma has been heavily linked with a move to north London for the past season.

The 24-year-old has been linked with several top clubs across Europe in recent months, with both Arsenal and Liverpool expressing interest before the transfer window opened last month.

A close friend of Bissouma’s told football.london that he ‘loves the Premier League’ and would choose Arsenal over any other Premier League club if they came in for him.

Manor Solomon

A source close to the player told football.london in January that he would be “delighted” if the 21-year-old joined the Gunners, but admitted “there is still a long way to go” before a move happens.

football.london also understands that Pini Zahavi is involved in talks between club and player. The Israeli ‘super agent’ is reportedly in touch with Arsenal technical director Edu.

Zahavi offered the Shakhtar Donetsk winger to the Gunners’ former head of football Raul Sanllehi in May 2020 before the Spaniard left the club last summer.

Achraf Hakimi

22-year-old Achraf Hakimi is a Moroccan right-back currently plying his trade in Italy for Serie A giants Inter.

The defender has been linked with a whole host of top European clubs including Arsenal, who are likely to be in the market for a right-back this summer.

Any move would be dependent on the future whereabouts of Hector Bellerin, with the Spaniard linked with a possible return to Barcelona or a big money move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Dan-Axel Zagadou

Zagadou is a 21-year-old centre back at Borussia Dortmund who has fallen down the pecking order at the Bundesliga side.

A move would make little sense for the Gunners who are well stocked at centre back, with Dinos Mavropanos and William Saliba both returning from their loan spells in the summer.

Rumour rating: 2/10

Abdallah Sima

The teenager forward has scored 15 goals and made six assists in 28 games for Slavia Prague.

He will be coming up against Arsenal in the Europa League quarter-final and it will give Mikel Arteta a chance to take a closer look at him.

Alexandre Lacazette could be sold this summer and there are doubts over the long-term future of Eddie Nketiah, which would make a move for a younger forward more likely.

Rumour rating: 4/10

Tyrell Malacia

The Gunners have been linked with Feyenoord right-back Malacia, who has been at the club’s academy since 2008.

Malacia has made 78 appearances for the Dutch giants, who are expected to receive interest from a host of top European clubs.

Arsenal are in the market for a right-back and left-back this summer, with Hector Bellerin’s future uncertain and a deputy for Kieran Tierney already shortlisted.

Pedro Goncalves

Arsenal are keeping close tabs on several Sporting Lisbon players, with Pedro Goncalves the latest reported target.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has a buy-out clause worth £51.7million in his contract, which is a significant amount of money that Arsenal are unlikely to stretch to.

Rumour rating: 4/10

Christopher Nkunku

Arsenal have long-standing interesting in former PSG star Nkunku, initially from Unai Emery’s time in charge at the club.

The 23-year-old is now at RB Leipzig and has impressed with his versatility under Julian Nagelsmann this season.

Emi Buendia

football.london first revealed that Emi Buendia was on Arsenal’s shortlist of potential creative midfield signings in December.

Buendia was a stand-out player for the Canaries in their disappointing Premier League campaign last season, creating 3.1 chances per 90 minutes and notching seven assists as they were relegated from the top flight.

Ismael Doukoure

The 17-year-old centre back currently plies his trade for French side Valenciennes.

He’s made 15 appearances for the Ligue 2 side, although any acquisition would likely be for the Under-23s side.
