Fabio Paratici appears to be wasting little time in stamping his authority at Tottenham Hotspur ahead of his appointment.
As reported by football.london, the former Juventus sporting director is expected to arrive in a new role at Spurs this week after over a decade of service to the Serie A giants.
It’s understood that he has earmarked potential sales to raise funds for deals, and he will also have a key say in who the club’s next head coach will be.
One – or two – of the potential deals in question is bringing at least one Juventus player with him to north London.
According to reports in Italy, as per Calcio Mercato, Paratici is eyeing up a move for Dejan Kulusevski as well as experienced centre-back Leonardo Bonucci.
Of course, the 48-year-old is familiar with both players from his time at Juventus and has already delivered his verdict on the former’s debut season with the club after his £30m move from Atalanta.
“I think Kulusevski is having a great season,” Paratici said, as per Sky Italia. “He’s scored a few goals, played at a high level, but don’t forget he is only 20 years old.
“He is also evolving in his role and is capable of taking on different positions in different tactical systems.”
It’s clear that Paratici is a big fan of Kulusevski who finished the season with seven goals and seven assists in 47 appearances across competitions.

As is Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Upon Kulusevski’s arrival, he was given special praise from the Portugal international.
“He is a great talent,” Ronaldo said. “He will help us to win and achieve incredible things. I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player.
“I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together.”
