Hello and welcome to live coverage of Scott Parker’s press conference following the 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at Craven Cottage tonight.
The hosts went into the interval on level terms against the champions elect following a decent first period but they were caught napping from a set piece just over a minute after the interval when John Stones emerged unmarked to tap home from six yards.
Gabriel Jesus made it 2-0 soon after before Sergio Aguero added a third from the penalty spot after Tosin Adabarioyo was judged to have fouled Ferran Torres.
Parker will be disappointed by how his players fell apart considering how well they battled throughout the first half. But they are not the first and will not be the last team to be outclassed by the runaway league leaders this season.
