Giovani Lo Celso and Serge Aurier: Tottenham injury news ahead of Burnley clash

Tottenham are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they welcome Burnley to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jose Mourinho‘s men cruised through to the Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday, beating Wolfsberger 4-0 to progress through with an aggregate scoreline of 8-1.

Spurs now have to set about correcting their Premier League form having lost five of their last six in the Premier League, leaving them ninth in the table.

Burnley are in town on Sunday and it’s a game Spurs need to win to ensure they don’t fall away from top six contention, four points behind Liverpool in sixth as things stand, albeit with a game in hand.

Ahead of the clash with Burnely, we have rounded up all the latest Spurs injury news.

Serge Aurier

Right-back Aurier remained out of action for the Europa League clash with Wolfsberger despite being expected to return.

Mourinho played it safe with the full-back during the week and Aurier should be fit to return here.

Aurier has been out since early February, missing six games in all.

Giovani Lo Celso

Lo Celso has now missed 18 games with the hamstring injury he picked up back in December.
