Koulibaly hails ‘extraordinary’ Jorginho

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has praised Chelsea midfielder Jorginho for his ‘extraordinary’ performances for the Blues since arriving from Napoli.

Talking to DAZN, he said: He is an extraordinary player on the pitch, so important for Chelsea and Italy. I had fun playing with him. One stare was enough to understand each other.”

The two spent time together playing for Napoli before the Italian’s move to Chelsea in 2018, where he has since won the Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.

Wesley Fofana ‘dreams’ of Chelsea

Leicester defender Wesley Fofana has revealed that a move to Chelsea sits among his dreams.

Amid reports that the Blues were considering making a move for the former Saint Etienne defender as a replacement for Antonio Rudiger, he has done little to quash the rumours.

Talking in a Twitter Space with Actufoot, the 20-year-old said: “There is Marseille, Real Madrid, Barcelona. In the Premier League, Chelsea, Man United, Man City… but you have to work to achieve your dreams. Through work, you can succeed in it all.”

Ferdinand praises Bellingham

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has told Chelsea exactly why they need to make a move for transfer target Jude Bellingham.

Speaking on his FIVE podcast, Ferdinand said: “(Bellingham is) one of my favourite players to watch at the moment over the last year. A fantastic player. A great character. Huge, huge potential. I do not even see a ceiling yet to what he can achieve.”

Bellingham has been consistently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, whilst Liverpool are also thought to be interested in the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
