Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Monday, November 22.

Martinez ‘interested’ in Tottenham move

Having agreed a fee with Inter Milan for the services of Lautaro Martinez in the summer, most Spurs supporters were disappointed to not see the Argentine arrive in north London.

However, their hopes of a deal might well be resurrected with the striker reportedly interested in a move to north London, as per Dean Jones.

In an interview with Give Me Sport, he said: “He’s [Martinez] got eyes on getting to the Premier League and I think that he would be really interested to join Spurs.”

Of course, the striker worked with new boss Antonio Conte at Inter Milan. Read the full story here.

Haaland could decide Vlahovic future

On the topic of strikers linked with a switch to Spurs, Erling Haaland could potentially be a huge influence on the future of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian, who is rumoured to be under consideration by Spurs, is being linked with a switch to Dortmund as a replacement for the Norwegian sensation.

However, die Schwarzgelben are only expected to pursue the Fiorentina man should Haaland eventually leave the Westfalenstadion.

Reguilon on Conte’s training

Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon has cheekily labelled the past week’s training excursion under Antonio Conte as the ‘worst’ of his life.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s 2-1 win against Leeds United, a game in which the defender proved to be the match-winner, he said: “We are working a lot the last few weeks and the international break was one of the worst weeks of my life in training!

“But we can put in practice the training on the pitch during the games so let’s see today.”
