It’s been a tough season for Arsenal fans with the first team struggling in the league, and supporters unable to go and watch their team as they regularly would.
With the season drawing to a close and the Gunners in with a chance of winning the Europa League, and a return to the stadium for fans set for the last day of the season, things are starting to look up for supporters.
And there’s nothing to get fans excited quite like a new young talent bursting through the academy.
Arsenal have had a fantastic run of players emerging from the Hale End academy, with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka making a huge splash in the first team over the last two seasons.
Arsenal fans will be hoping for similar – although maybe not quite so soon – for one young attacker who has already set out his stall with a fantastic goal for the Under-18s.
Ethan Nwaneri has got Arsenal supporters excited after notching a fantastic curling effort from outside the area in a 6-1 win against Reading’s Under-18s.
The young star received the ball in space before cutting in on his left foot and arcing the ball high over the Reading keeper and into the back of the net. And he’s only 14 years old!
Suffice to say, Arsenal fans are hoping it’s just the start of something special from the youngster.
