Off the back of a summer that saw Chelsea strengthen their squad with the return of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, Thomas Tuchel could look to improve even further in the winter market.

The Blues spent over £100million to kick on from their Champions League winning side of last season and it has paid off so far, with the Stamford Bridge outfit currently top of the Premier League.

Marina Granovskaia is said to be plotting these big money moves to shore up the defence with de Ligt reportedly asking for a move away from Juventus, whilst summer interest for Kounde is revived.

Insigne is out-of-contract at Napoli come the end of the season, with the Blues potentially eyeing up a low-cost move for the Italy international.
