Arsenal wonderkid Bukayo Saka has had a few nicknames since breaking into the first-team picture.
The most popular one is ‘Little Chilli’ given to him by Gunners captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And The origins of Saka’s unusual nickname was explained by the Arsenal striker during the 2019/20 campaign when the winger showed his promise by producing a number of stand out performances.
“I call him this (Little Chilli) but in French so it is ‘Petit Piment'”, Aubameyang told Sky Sports. “It’s because he is like a little chilli, so much energy, so much power and is quite small so it’s funny.”
Meanwhile, during the 2020/21 campaign, Alexandre Lacazette revealed a new nickname for Saka.
This came after Cedric Soares appeared to have taken the teenager under his wing as a swimming instructor ahead of the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur back in March.
Taking to social media, Lacazette uploaded a few videos of Saka apparently learning how to take to the pool.
After completing the task set for him by Cedric – much to the delight of Lacazette who coined a new nickname for Saka by saying: “The swimchili can do everything.”
Now, Saka has his third nickname.
As spotted in the ‘Inside Access’ England training session uploaded to YouTube, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount calls the Gunners youngster a ‘joker’ after his attempts at a prank.
The summer window is officially open, and it’s going to be tough to keep up with the comings and goings in and out of the Emirates.

From around the 0.19-minute mark, Saka’s mission is to trick his England teammates into handing him their passports, and after failing to do so with Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson, he targets Mount.
However, the Blues ace simply wasn’t falling for it either.
At the 1.09-minute mark, Mount pops his head out, asks Saka why he’s there, tells him to “go inside” and “stop playing with me” as the pair embrace before Saka latest nickname is revealed.
