A jam-packed weekend of Serie A action on Paramount+ will see Napoli and Juventus square off on Saturday as part of Matchday 3. Napoli are 2-0-0 to start the season and looking sharp with four goals in two games, while Juventus are struggling to find stability with a 0-1-1 record, sitting in 12th place. Juventus are averaging just a goal per game, and that’s a number that could portend trouble as they struggle with the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Here’s are storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

Storylines

Napoli: A nice road win at Genoa at the end of August has this team feeling confident entering the clash with Juve. Andrea Petagna has shown that he can be a viable option off the bench at striker, and they are also set to receive striker Victor Osimhen back from suspension. With the Nigerian international, they have a player who has the pace and technical ability to give the Juve backline some trouble. If he can get into those dangerous positions and be quick to fire off shots, he can be the hero in what will be a physical, heated match.

Juventus: American midfielder Weston McKennie makes his return to the club after getting sent home from United States men’s national team duty for breaking COVID protocols, but it doesn’t look like any punishment is coming from his club after coach Massimo Allegri said on Friday that McKennie will start in this game. It’s a big spot for the talented midfielder who knows full well that he has to start producing on the pitch and eliminate the hard-headed decisions he has made off of it. This needs to be the start of a new chapter for him, and he’s planning on taking advantage.
