Newcastle vs West Ham live: Kick-off time, confirmed team news, TV details and live updates

Hello and welcome along to live coverage of this afternoon’s Premier League clash between West Ham and Newcastle at St James’ Park as the Hammers look to move above Leicester and into third place.

West Ham lost 2-0 to Newcastle earlier in the season but will be out to avenge that defeat as the two teams are fighting very different battles at the business end of the season.

Newcastle sit just one spot above the relegation zone albeit with a game in hand and a six-point buffer over Fulham in 18th. While David Moyes and his team are in fourth and aiming for European football next season.

The Hammers are without Declan Rice and Michail Antonio for the match today with Aaron Cresswell a doubt. Angelo Ogbonna or Fabian Balbuena are expected to replace Cresswell in the starting XI with Ogbonna nearing a return after two months on the sidelines.

For Newcastle Allan Saint-Maximin’s return to the team, last week was the catalyst for a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Burnley and the Frenchman is sure to get in the starting XI today providing the Magpies with an attacking threat alongside Callum Wilson.

We will bring you comprehensive coverage of the game including team news and injury updates from our West Ham writer Tom Clark live at St James’ Park.
