Nuno Espirito Santo press conference live: Tottenham boss on Harry Kane, Son injury and victory

Nuno Espirito Santo is holding court in his press conference following Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

All of the talk before the match was about Harry Kane’s return to the squad as the England captain took his place on the bench.

Espirito Santo was returning to his old stomping ground and it was his new team who took the lead after just eight minutes.

Sergio Reguilon played a ball into the box to find Dele Alli’s run before the midfielder collided with Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Alli picked up the ball and tucked away the penalty, sending the keeper the wrong way.

Spurs battled away under plenty of pressure from the home side but they had their chances to extend their lead late in the game, especially after Kane came off the bench.

They held on for a second successive victory for new boss Espirito Santo.

Our Tottenham reporter Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to Espirito Santo after the match.
