GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida goalkeeper Paloma Peña opens December with the Dominican Republic for 2025-26 Concacaf Qualifiers action.
The Concacaf W Qualifiers matches will be played across the three FIFA Women’s International Match Windows running from November 2025 through April 2026 and serve as the preliminary stage of the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.
The Dominican Republic’s schedule starts Dec. 2 versus Suriname at 6 p.m. ET in Moca, D.R.
Dominican Republic Group D complete schedule:
Dec. 2 vs Suriname 2-2 tie (Peña started & played entire 90 minutes)
Feb. 28 vs Belize
March 6 at Anguilla
April 17 at Haiti
The goal for the Dominican Republic is to win Group D. The six group winners join the United State and Canada to make up the eight team field for the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.
The Concacaf W Championship serves as the Confederation’s qualifier for both the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the 2028 LA Summer Olympics.
