Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been streaming FIFA 21 on Twitch, giving an awesome reaction to his teammate Bukayo Saka’s incredible FUT 21 Future Stars item.
Aubameyang has a passion for gaming and has been involved in a number of major events over the last 12 months, participating in FIFA 21, F1 2020, Fortnite and Call of Duty competitions, mainly as a way of contributing to charitable causes.
The biggest gaming event that Aubameyang’s been involved with to-date came back in May 2020, when the Gabonese forward drove for McLaren in the Virtual Monaco GP, alongside real-life F1 drivers such as Valtteri Bottas, Esteban Ocon, Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, George Russell, Lando Norris, Antonio Giovinazzi and Nicholas Latifi, with Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also making an appearance.
Now the Arsenal striker regularly streams playing FIFA 21 on streaming service Twitch, with fans able to watch him compete on the game, but sometimes it doesn’t go to plan. Yesterday, Aubameyang’s stream lasted less than 10 minutes, with his poor connection meaning he was unable to play.
However, he did take this opportunity to check out Bukayo Saka’s FUT 21 Future Stars item, a heavily upgraded card that was given to the Gunners youngster as part of the promo, and it reaction was amazing.
The FIFA 21 Future Stars promo recognises the brightest breakthrough talents who are 23 or under and have shown high potential but have not yet become established global stars, with these players then given items that represent the rating they could achieve at the peak of their career, if they reach their full potential.
And it’s fair to say that Aubameyang was buzzing about Saka’s upgraded Future Stars card.
“Saka? Let’s see something, if Saka got a new card maybe? I dunno”, said Aubameyang on his Twitch stream.
“Let’s check, my little chilli, special card let’s see.
“Ok ok ok ok, my little chilli’s on fire!
“Oh my god, 2 million, need to buy this one.”
