PSG v Clermont Live Commentary & Result, 11/09/2021, Ligue 1

With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let’s take a look at how the two sides are lining up – starting with our hosts!

Clermont Foot have looked remarkable in their first four matches in Ligue 1, with Pascal Gastien managing to continue the good form that saw his side promoted from the second division in second place last year. Having never before played in the top division, Clermont have started with incredible tenacity – winning their first two matches by 2-0 score lines before earning draws with both Lyon and Metz.

PSG are looking to make it five wins in five matches to start their domestic campaign as they welcome Clermont to the Parc des Princes. Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned their first clean sheet of the year two weeks ago in their 2-0 victory over Reims, while maintaining their impressive record of scoring at least two in each league match.
