Real Madrid have already become frustrated with Martin Odegaard at Arsenal just weeks following his move to London.
The 22-year-old Norway international joined Mikel Arteta’s side at the end of the January transfer window on loan until the end of the season, as he looked for more regular opportunities.
He has started to receive that with the Gunners, making his first start in Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Leeds United and impressing in the early days of his time in north London.
However, Defensa Central state that Odegaard has already frustrated his parent club following recent comments about a permanent transfer.
Odegaard refused to rule out a permanent move to the Emirates Stadium, stating: “You never know what happens, but first of all my focus is about the rest of the season. Hopefully (I will) help the team, and then we’ll see what happens.”
That has irritated those at the Santiago Bernabeu, as they still see a future for him with Los Blancos and are said to not be interested in a sale at the end of the season.
Real Madrid and Arsenal did not agree to a purchase option in Odegaard’s loan deal, which means Arteta’s side cannot easily complete a permanent signing.

Much may depend on what Real have planned for Odegaard next season, with the player frustrated with a lack of opportunities during the first half of the current campaign.
It could also be affected by the potential of a new manager in the Spanish capital, with Zinedine Zidane attracting heavy interest from Juventus.
