Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that the club have seen a £12.9million bid for Albert Sambi Lokonga rejected.
football.londonunderstands that the Gunners launched an opening offer for the Belgium international that was turned down by Anderlecht, with the club holding out for just over £4m more than initially put to them.
Lokonga impressed for the Belgian outfit throughout the 2020/21 season, with his fine form attracting the interest of Arsenal scouts.
Anderlecht know that clubs in Germany and France are also keen on their 21-year-old midfielder and are hoping they can spark a bidding war for his signature.
Arsenal supporters have been reacting to the news that the Gunners have launched a bid for Lokonga and some big comparisons have been made.

The north London club are keen on bringing another central midfielder to the club with Granit Xhaka set to leave the side he’s represented for five years in the coming weeks.
Xhaka has already agreed personal terms to join AS Roma, but the Italian club and Arsenal are yet to strike a deal over a fee for the Switzerland international.
