Arsenal supporters are seemingly delighted with the news that Kieran Tierney has agreed a new long-term contract to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
football.londonunderstands that the Gunners defender has agreed a new five-year deal, and will put pen-to-paper on the contract in the next few days.
Tierney featured 27 times in the Premier League last season and was one of the standout performers both in defence and attack in a disappointing campaign for the club.
The Scotland international still has three years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, but Arsenal are determined to fend off any potential interest in their left-back by offering him new terms.
Gunners fans have been reacting to the positive update brought to them by football.london and are seemingly delighted.
Tierney is seen as a leader at the club, one of the many reasons he is now a fan favourite among the Arsenal supporters.
Speaking in March, the Scot issued a strong statement on his disappointment about where the club are at the moment, with the Gunners eventually finishing in eighth-place.
“Arsenal’s a massive club. Where we are just now, isn’t where we want to be, should be and isn’t what the fans deserve,” the defender said.
“Success is what this team deserves and something what I work towards every single day.”

Tierney also provided his support for Mikel Arteta, who came in for criticism at times last season with the club failing to qualify for European competition next season.
“[Mikel] Arteta is still a young manager, but from what I’m learning and what I learned so far is amazing and hopefully we can get some consistency,” he added.
“That is the most important thing. We’ve had big results against some big teams. It’s just consistency we need to add.”
