Thomas Frank confirmed in his press conference this afternoon that Kristoffer Ajer and Christian Norgaard are available for selection against Burnley in an enormous Premier League clash.
The duo had to be replaced in last weekend’s win over Norwich City after sustaining injuries in the game at Carrow Road, but Brentford fans will have relieved with Frank revealing the duo, who have been some of Brentford’s most important players this season, are available for tomorrow’s game.
They will have to work ever so hard against Burnley, who are currently six points below the Bees. A win for Brentford would see them go nine points clear of Burnley who occupy the final relegation spot. More significantly, they would go seven points clear of Leeds who are a place behind them.
Burnley reporter Alex James gave the views of Sean Dyche on the Bees, with the Clarets manager impressed with how Brentford have done in the Premier League this campaign
“They’ve been open minded to the challenge that is being in the Premier League. They have been on a really tough run lately but came out of it with a win and an important win,” Dyche said on Thursday afternoon.
“They probably look at it as a mixed bag having started the season very well, but things have slowed down a bit for them now. A good win [against Norwich City] has calmed their situation down.
“They’re full of energy and effort and they’ve found a way that has affected the season enough to get to where they’ve got to.”
