Here is your Chelsea morning digest for Friday, February 19.
Milan keen to wrap up Tomori deal
The defender, who has spent time on loan at both Derby County and Hull City in the past, joined the Italian giants on loan from the Blues last month after falling out-of-favour under former Blues boss Frank Lampard.
As part of the deal that took Tomori to the San Siro, Milan appeared to include a clause that could make the deal permanent at the end of the season if he impressed.
Usually in those scenarios, a fee between the two clubs has already been agreed, but that does not appear to be the case here, with reports that the Serie A club would still have to negotiate a fee with Marina Granovskaia – Chelsea’s transfer guru.
That fee is believed to be worth £25million. Should Milan and Chelsea reach an agreement, that money could be reinvested into the squad, handing boss Thomas Tuchel the chance to put his own stamp of authority on the squad he inherited from Lampard last month.

Blues handed double fitness boost
The duo have both been sidelined recently because of injury issues, with Silva having missed the last three matches in league and cup and Havertz the last four.
Silva, who is out-of-contract at the end of the season, was forced off in the first half of the 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur just over a fortnight ago whilst Havertz got injured in the build-up to that London derby.
However, the pair returned to training at Cobham yesterday morning, meaning Tuchel looks set to have two key players back available for the trip to the South Coast.
Tuchel wants Sule deal
According to German newspaper Abendzeitung, Tuchel is desperate to add Bayern Munich centre-back Niklas Sule to his squad at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Despite being heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland, Tuchel is reported to have pinpointed bolstering the Blues’ defence as his number one priority.

The Blues have been closely linked with David Alaba in recent weeks, as well as Dayot Upamecano, who has agreed to join Bayern from RB Leipzig, but Tuchel is keen on Sule, with the report claiming that the Blues boss has already entered talks with Granovskaia about trying to wrap up a deal.
Although Tuchel has highlighted the Germany international as his top target, Bayern are not in any rush to sell him, despite having secured Upamecano’s signature.
Sule is contracted to the German giants until the summer of 2022.
