Serie A goalkeeper to fly out for Tottenham medical
Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini will have his Tottenham Hotspur medical this week as more details emerge on the reported loan deal which includes an option to buy for €15million (£12.9m).
Sky Sport Italia report that the 26-year-old shot-stopper is having some tests in Italy first before flying to London Thursday morning.
In an interesting new development explained by Gianluca Di Marzio, via Football Italia, the move will reportedly be made permanent if Gollini makes at least 20 appearances for Tottenham during the season.
Tottenham to make highly-rated appointment
Spurs are set to appoint a new ‘head of emerging talent’ in Chris Perkins, football.london understands.
Perkins made a name for himself during his five years as head of academy recruitment at Derby, with a high percentage of first-team players coming through the club’s youth set-up.
He finally made the move in 2020 to take on a similar role at Everton, but Tottenham have been restructuring their off-the-pitch staff at the club and see Perkins as a key man for the future of their academy.

Dele Alli nominated for UEFA award
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, as well as Rangers’ Keemar Roofe, are also on the list of nominees following incredible strikes at Euro 2020 and in the Europa League respectively.
It may not have come against the best of opposition, but the finish is certainly a worthy Goal of the Season contender, and more importantly, it’s served as a reminder that Alli is still capable of producing some truly magical moments.
