Spurs ‘confident’ of Conte appointment
The report claims that talks are ongoing with Conte and are apparently ‘centred’ around his contract and the number of staff he will be allowed to bring along to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
football.londonreported on Wednesday evening that Spurs are likely to name the former Chelsea head coach as their new boss.
Conte is reportedly expected to be handed a three-year deal in north London if an agreement can be reached.
City eye Kane alternative
Silva scored 28 goals in 32 Bundesliga games for Frankfurt after joining the Bundesliga outfit permanently from Sevilla last summer.
City are thought to have spoken to Silva’s representatives over a potential offer for the Portuguese centre-forward.
The newly-crowned Premier League champions are looking to replace the club’s all-time top scorer Sergio Aguero, who has recently joined Barcelona on a free transfer.

Andersen’s transfer destination revealed
Tottenham may have been handed a transfer boost in their pursuit of Joachim Andersen this summer.
football.london understands that Spurs are looking at Andersen ahead of a possible summer move after the Dane impressed for Fulham last season.
The Lyon defender spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan at Craven Cottage, but is now set to return to the French club
But according to Danish outlet BT, Andersen is “almost certain” to remain in London next season, with both Spurs and Arsenal reportedly keen on the centre-back.
It remains to be seen which side he will be representing heading into the 2021/22 campaign but staying in London, Andersen would be ideally situated to sign for either Arsenal or Spurs.
