Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing as Ben Davies scores for Wales as they beat Belarus

Tottenham defender Ben Davies scored his first career goal for Wales on Saturday night as his side cruised to a 5-1 victory over Belarus in Cardiff.

The 26-year-old has featured in both of new head coach Antonio Conte’s games in charge so far, playing as a centre-back in a back three for the Italian manager.

The defender has shown sparks of what he is capable of in a Tottenham shirt in the two appearances he has made under Conte and earned another call-up to the Wales squad for the November international break.

Davies took the captaincy for his side once former Spurs winger Gareth Bale – earning his 100th cap for his country – and former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey were substituted off.

Davies duly scored in the 76th minute of the match to put his side 4-0 up, latching onto a corner with a rising header to beat the visitors’ goalkeeper.

Taking to social media, Spurs fans were all quick to point to Antonio Conte as the reason for Davies’ first goal on the international stage.
