Here’s your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Saturday, March 12.
Newcastle eye Harry Kane as “dream signing”
Following their takeover, Newcastle have had the ability to spend freely in an attempt to avoid relegation and build for beyond that.
Now, according to GiveMeSport, the Magpies are prepared to go even further and have drafted a list of “dream signings” to go for this summer in an attempt to compete at the top end of the league.
On that list is Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who was heavily linked with a move away from the club at the end of last season and has two-years remaining on his deal.
However, reports elsewhere have stated that Spurs are preparing a potential new contract offer at the end of the season to keep Kane at the club.
Tottenham face £43m transfer dilemma
Tottenham have another big summer ahead of them, with decisions to be made over the playing squad and the direction the club will go in under Antonio Conte.
Among those players is Sergio Reguilon, who was a regular starter but has since become a secondary option behind Ryan Sessegnon on the left.
The Spaniard has a buy-back clause that could see him return to Real Madrid this summer for £43million, opening up the question as to what could happen for the full-back.

Manchester United star sends Tottenham warning
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic insists that his side are ready to face Tottenham when the two sides clash on Saturday.
The match marks a potentially huge moment for both clubs, who are in pursuit of a top four finish this season.
Matic said: “We know it’s going to be very hard, especially because the last match they played some good football, they won 5-0 against Everton. It’s going to be very interesting and I’m sure we’ll be ready.”
