Nothing much to do until 72 minutes when he had to punch away a cross that was creeping under his crossbar. After that he made a series of good punches under presser and stopped a dangerous Toney cross with his toe. 7
Davinson Sanchez
A shaky game at times, coming off the back of his performance against Mura, although he did improve and started the move for Tottenham’s second goal. 5
Eric Dier
It was his dangerous curling pass that was cleared at the last moment for the corner that led to Spurs’ opening goal. Defended well on the whole and it was another solid display from the centre-back. 7
Ben Davies
Forced the own goal that put Spurs ahead early in the game and sent another looping header at goal that Fernandez grabbed in the air. Made a number of important interceptions at the back and he looked good on the left of the back three, combining strong defending with getting up the pitch. 8
Emerson Royal
A mixed night for the Brazilian as he was industrious down the right-flank but he lacked quality in his final pass and had some iffy moments in defending. 6
Oliver Skipp
Plenty of early tackles and interceptions and tried to quickly get Spurs moving up the pitch. Broke away early in the second half and fed Kane with a perfect ball into his path for what should have been the hosts’ second goal. Showed exactly why Conte has joined the list of Spurs managers who believe he has a bright future and present. 9
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Denied by the keeper’s face before half-time and sent an effort into the side-netting after the break. Got up and down the pitch to contribute at both ends. 7
Sergio Reguilon
Got into plenty of dangerous positions down the left. His quality was lacking until the 65th minute when he sprinted on to Kane’s pass and picked out Son to score with an inch-perfect ball across. Getting to grips with the wing-back role and if he can find more quality consistently in this final ball he could really shine. 8

Forced the keeper into the save in the opening six minutes. As always he worked hard and his pressing led to opportunities but he was just lacking that decisive quality in the opposition half. 6

Played Lucas into the box for an early saved chance. Had a big chance early in the second half only to fire his shot at the keeper. Sent Reguilon away to set up Son for Spurs’ second goal. Got through plenty of work up front and used the ball well, but should have scored his big chance and he’ll know it. 7
Son Heung-min
Dangerous down the left from the off and his cross caused chaos for Spurs’ early goal. On 37 minutes he had a curling shot pushed wide by the keeper and he fully deserved to take his place on the scoresheet by sprinting up the pitch to tap home from Reguilon’s pass. Looked more like his old self. 8
