Antonio Conte is holding his press conference following the 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Italian had to name a much-changed line-up for the game following the Covid outbreak that left him without nine first team players for much of the past fortnight.

Liverpool also had their own selection problems with four players out with Covid and others ill or injured.

In an end-to-end first half, Spurs took the lead when Harry Winks won the ball back and Tanguy Ndombele threaded a ball through to Harry Kane to fire home only his second Premier League goal of the season.

Spurs had chances to extend their lead through Son Heung-min and Dele Alli before Liverpool equalised with Diogo Jota heading home Andy Robertson’s cross.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp received a yellow card for his complaints after a series of decisions went against his team, including an lunging tackle from Kane and a tackle from Emerson Royal on Jota that looked to be worthy of a penalty.

Spurs had more chances to score and a penalty shout for a push on Alli in the Liverpool box, only for Robertson to head home from Alexander-Arnold’s cross.

Tottenham were level though after Son took advantage of a mistake from Allison to fire into an empty net.

Liverpool were then reduced to 10 men when Robertson hacked at Emerson in an attempt to get the ball and after a check of his pitch-side monitor by the referee, the Scot was sent off.

Both sides pushed for a late winner but neither could find it.
