Antonio Conte is speaking to the media ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s latest north London derby against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Spurs will be hoping to get back on track with another all-London clash following the defeats to Chelsea in the two Carabao Cup semi-final legs.
Conte will give an update on the injuries Spurs are struggling with at the moment, including Eric Dier, Steven Bergwijn, Sergio Reguilon, Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min, who is out until next month.
There is also Tanguy Ndombele, who was left out of the squad for the second leg against Chelsea in what Conte called a ‘technical decision’, having incurred the wrath of the Spurs fans during the FA Cup match against Morecambe with his painfully slow exit from the field of play.
There have been some suggestions that Arsenal could attempt to request the derby is postponed due to injuries, players at the Africa Cup of Nations and a couple of Covid cases.
With Tottenham having had matches postponed last month due to a large outbreak in their squad, Conte will likely be asked his opinion on that possibility and other recent postponements.
Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to the head coach.
