Tottenham press conference live: Nuno Espirito Santo on Harry Kane, injuries and transfer news

It is only 15 hours since his last press conference – and his third in 48 hours – but Nuno Espirito Santo is once again speaking to the media as another match beckons.

Tottenham lost 1-0 at Paco de Ferreira on Thursday night in Portugal in their Europa Conference League play-off first leg.

Espirito Santo left 16 players back at home in the UK, including the starting line-up that overcame champions Manchester City on Sunday.

Having flown back last night, there is no time for the Spurs boss to pause for breath as he must prepare his team for the next Premier League match and it takes him back to Molineux to face his former side Wolves.

Espirito Santo will face further questions about Harry Kane and whether the England captain is fit enough and in the right frame of mind to play on Sunday.

The Portuguese will also give an update on any fresh injuries following the European match.

With the transfer window having only 11 days left, the Tottenham head coach will also likely be asked about any potential movement in and out of the club.

Our Spurs reporter Alasdair Gold has also flown back from the match and will be, bleary-eyed, asking Espirito Santo questions again.

Scroll down for all of his latest updates from the press conference at Hotspur Way.
